My professional career began in 2004 with my training as a clerk in the real estate and housing industry (IHK/EBZ) in the dual system at the private vocational college Europäisches Bildungszentrum in Bochum. I acquired the optimal legal, commercial and all-encompassing basics of the real estate industry. I completed my training in one of the largest German housing cooperatives. TRAINING, STUDIES & SPECIALIZATION by Mareike Jakél The real estate industry covers many areas. My specialization is in the technical area, controlling and the sale of real estate. I have carried out commercial support for major modernizations, maintenance and industry-specific projects. I have expanded my specialist knowledge through my part-time degree in Bachelor of Engineering – Facility Management. The holistic view of the property offers a wide spectrum, as it is divided into so-called primary and secondary processes. The building is accompanied, so to speak, through all "life cycles". That means, from the planning idea, management to the demolition. Furthermore, I am trained in the areas of "establishing general safety/traffic safety for property and real estate owners". This primarily serves to avert damage to people and property and thus also to protect the owner.
